Job summary

UNIQLO is seeking a Store Development Lead in the Philippines to manage end-to-end store openings, remodels, and new formats. You will drive design, procurement, and construction, aligning with regional tastes and customer needs.

The role requires strong BIM, AutoCAD and Revit proficiency, with a background in architectural or interior design and multi-stakeholder coordination across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing all phases of new store development and existing store renovation, including planning, design, and construction management.
• Strong extroversion, presentation skills, responsiveness, and excellent communication with multi-stakeholders.
• Practical experience in architectural design, interior design, or construction management.
• In-house design development experience for store creation within retail, food service, or service industries.
• At least 3 years of experience in BIM implementation, business transformation and design, system development and operations.
• Experience building systems for operational efficiency and standardization.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Adobe software, and BIM (Revit preferred).

Job description

• This role involves managing all stages of store opening projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, cost & quality management
• Creating innovative stores that anticipate future trends, designing individual stores that reflect regional characteristics and customer needs, and devising ways to create retail spaces that are loved by the local community
• Developing new store formats and concepts; implementing a transformation in store design with a focus on the shopping experience and integration with e-commerce; promoting sustainable store development
• Based on store opening strategies, consistently manage all phases from planning and design through construction and opening to ensure swift and reliable store launches
• Implementing store-specific designs and sales floor layouts that respect regional characteristics and customer profiles, aiming to create stores that will be cherished for years to come

Required Experience

• Experience overseeing all phases of new store development and existing store renovation, including planning, design, and construction management. Or more than 3 years of overseas work experience, or more than 3 years of experience working in a global company
• Strong extroversion, presentation skills, responsiveness, and excellent communication skills with internal and external multi-stakeholders
• Practical experience in building and facility-related fields, such as architectural design, interior design, or construction management
• In-house experience in design development for store creation within the retail, food service, or service industries
• At least 3 years of experience in BIM implementation, business transformation and design, system development and operations, etc., at general contractors, consulting firms, system integrators, or operating companies
• Experience building systems for operational efficiency and standardization
• Experience using AutoCAD, Adobe software, and BIM (Revit preferred)
