Job summary

ESCA Incorporated seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to ensure projects meet quality, cost, and schedule goals while representing company interests with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in construction PM, deep procurement and contract knowledge, and strong leadership to guide executive-level reporting and negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of procurement, contract management, claim resolution, and budget oversight.
  • Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, dispute resolution capabilities, and strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regular detailed metrics, variance analyses, and status reports to the CEO/President and Director of Project Management.
  • Oversee project budgets, approve invoices, evaluate change order impacts, and implement value engineering to protect margins and efficiency.
  • Monitor overall project timelines, anticipate delays, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Serve as the main liaison to external stakeholders, contractors, and partners, maintaining strong working relationships and representing company interests.
  • Resolve technical, contractual, or payment disputes between clients, engineering consultants, and contractors.
  • Lead detailed project meetings, public/agency presentations, and strategic partnering sessions.
  • Enforce contractor compliance regarding environmental standards, scope requirements, scheduling, and invoicing.
  • Lead consultant selection, bid analysis reviews, and procurement document development across various delivery models.
  • Partner with internal Business Development and Operations teams on contract provisions, bidding strategies, and project implementation workflows.

Job Summary:

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. (Master's degree or PRC License is a strong advantage).
  • 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience, with a proven track record of handling high-value projects and reporting to executive leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of construction procurement, contract management, claim resolution, and budget oversight.
  • Exceptional executive presence, high-stakes negotiation skills, strong dispute resolution capabilities, and strategic leadership.
