Job summary

RTX, collaborating through Collins Aerospace, seeks a skilled CNC Programmer in the Philippines to manufacture precision aerospace and defense components. You will program, set up, and operate CNC machines, using Mastercam and Siemens NX to develop and optimize multi-axis programs.

You will interpret drawings and collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve issues, driving continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and waste while ensuring tight tolerances and high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in CNC programming using Mastercam and Siemens NX software.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming for multi-axis machines.
• In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to create precision components for aerospace and defense applications.
• Utilize Mastercam and Siemens NX software to develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to create accurate and efficient machining programs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, ensuring product quality and adherence to tight tolerances.
• Continuously improve machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
• Maintain and update tooling libraries and program databases.
