Job summary

Vertoz seeks an experienced Senior System Administrator to lead IT & cloud infrastructure initiatives and manage a team of systems engineers. In this position you will design and maintain scalable cloud architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP, drive security and compliance, and work with Sales to craft cloud solutions for opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years hands‑on IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the systems administration team; oversee planning and evaluation.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Collaborate with Sales/Pre‑Sales to develop cloud solutions and respond to RFPs/RFQs.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers; ensure availability, security, and performance.
• Implement IaC and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.
• Manage containers and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Plan capacity, optimize costs, provision resources, monitor performance.
• Drive security, patching, vulnerability management, and IAM controls.

What you will do:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the systems administration team; oversee task planning, performance evaluation, and skills development.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable & secure cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Collaborate with Sales/Pre-Sales teams to develop cloud solutions, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to RFP/RFQ responses.

  • Understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, Proxmox, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting, system analysis, & problem‑resolution skills.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
• Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• Preferred Certifications (Any or Multiple)
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a strong advantage.
• Exposure to monitoring technologies (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Datadog, etc.)
