Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our Ortigas, Pasig City team. This full-time role bridges business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with client objectives.

You will design end-to-end architectures, lead cross-functional teams, and guide project delivery while participating in pre-sales activities. Opportunities for training, certifications, mentoring, and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in software development, systems design, or IT consulting.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar senior technical design role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern architecture patterns.
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, cloud-native technologies, and distributed systems.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent).
• Excellent SDLC and Agile understanding.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership in cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
• Relevant industry certifications (AWS/Azure TOGAF) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solution designs and architecture documentation.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and requirements sessions with clients.
• Design end-to-end architectures aligned with industry best practices.
• Evaluate technologies and tools to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure delivery.
• Develop architecture diagrams and solution roadmaps.
• Lead POC activities and feasibility studies.
• Provide technical mentoring during implementation.
• Review solutions against architecture standards and compliance.
• Support pre-sales activities and proposal development.
