Job summary

Aon Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to design and govern enterprise services, ensuring high availability and scalable architectures across core operations.

The role collaborates with Enterprise Architects, Product teams, and Delivery squads to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, while mentoring teams and guiding cloud adoption. Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of development experience in Java
• 10+ years of solution architecture, systems design, or software development.
• 6+ years of Springboot, Angular or React, Groovy
• Experience with Gradle/Maven
• Cloud migration projects and cloud-based infrastructures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong UML/architecture documentation experience
• Proven API and integration experience

Responsibilities

• Design applications and services with Enterprise Architects and Product teams.
• Ensure high availability for core operations and drive architectural decisions.
• Produce architecture documentation and diagrams (UML, process flows).
• Mentor delivery teams and guide cloud migration projects.
• Oversee end-to-end solution designs and integration patterns.
• Promote best practices and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across regions and units.
