Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure software solutions. You will define solution architecture, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software/solution architecture or system design.
• Strong grasp of architecture principles, patterns and distributed systems.
• Experience with designing scalable, high-performance applications.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and system integration.
• Awareness of security best practices and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures that are scalable, secure and reliable.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define technical strategies and roadmaps.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance throughout the software lifecycle.
• Evaluate technologies and architectural patterns to meet business needs.
