Job summary

Own Bank in the Philippines is seeking a Senior IT Operations Engineer to ensure availability, stability, and security of production systems, cloud infrastructure, and critical services. You will oversee public/hybrid cloud environments, core banking workloads, payment interfaces, middleware, batch processing, monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and change management.

You will lead L2/L3 support, drive automation via IaC, and coordinate with vendors to meet BSP audit and regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of IT operations, production support, or cloud administration experience.
Experience with banking/fintech environments and regulated production environments is preferred.
Hands-on experience with public or hybrid cloud environments, incident management, and change management.

Responsibilities

Ensure production systems availability and performance 24x7.
Administer cloud infrastructure, platforms, and container workloads.
Lead incident triage, RCA, and post-incident reviews.
Support changes, releases, and deployment activities with CI/CD perspectives.
Enforce security, access controls, logging, and compliance with BSP requirements.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
Drive automation and operational efficiency across environments.
