Job summary

ScalableOS seeks a senior L3 Cloud Operations Engineer to lead the Cloud Operations team. You will own complex incidents across Azure, networking, security, and back-end systems for our global hedge fund and financial services clients.

Beyond technical contribution, you will provide guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 engineers, drive process improvements, lead major incident resolution, and act as a bridge between the service desk and senior engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a 3rd line/senior helpdesk/cloud operations role within MSP/MSSP
• Experience leading major incident resolution and driving root cause analysis
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, and hybrid infrastructure
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and communicate with clients
• Familiarity with Jira Service Management and project/change management

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to L1/L2 engineers
• Lead major incidents end-to-end with RCA and post-incident reviews
• Define and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and escalation workflows
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and partners during incidents
• Manage cloud/infrastructure operations across Azure, AD, VDI, and networking
• Lead automation, scripting, and Jira workflow improvements
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and support onboarding/handover processes
