Job summary

Kayana Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Lead Cloud Engineer to lead the design, delivery, and operations of scalable, secure, high-performance cloud-native solutions across the organization.

The role requires translating business requirements into end-to-end cloud solutions, integrating systems, and driving reliable cloud infrastructure while collaborating with product, engineering, and business teams.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or IT infrastructure.
Proven design and implementation of organization-wide cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud-native solutions.
Strong knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid environments and networking concepts.
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and Git version control.
Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform and CloudFormation; able to drive best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud architectures across platforms and data-centric services.
Lead IaC adoption and enforce engineering standards; promote modular reusable components.
Integrate cloud with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for automated deployments.
Define monitoring, logging, and observability; ensure security and compliance controls.
Provide technical leadership and oversee incident response, root-cause analysis, and platform reliability.
Collaborate with engineering, security, data, and vendor teams to meet requirements.
Drive cost optimization and performance improvements across cloud environments.
