Job summary

LevelBlue, LLC. seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. This hands-on contributor role emphasizes automation, reliability, and best practices across AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience on AWS at scale.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and state management.
• Experience with Packer for machine images and Puppet for config management.
• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) administration and scripting with Bash or Python.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of security principles, least-privilege access, and secure deployments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote best practices in cloud-native architecture and deployment.
• Evolve development guidelines for fast, reliable service delivery.
• Design, build, and maintain immutable infrastructure workflows across AWS using Terraform/Packer/Puppet.
• Support DevOps toolchains for configuration, build, deploy, CI, tests, and self-service release management.
• Manage automated code deployment practices and version control.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations to document requirements and processes.
• Evaluate new build/deploy technologies and cloud development approaches.
