Job summary

Dayforce seeks a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to define, build, and govern our enterprise cloud architecture across AWS and Azure. You will drive modernization via IaC, automation, and DevSecOps practices while mentoring platform engineering teams to operate and evolve environments.

You will lead security-by-design, cost optimization, and governance efforts, partnering with security, architecture, and infrastructure groups to ensure scalable, resilient, and compliant cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional; Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
• 7+ years in enterprise cloud design and implementation; 5+ years hands-on AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain cloud architecture roadmap across AWS and Azure.
• Lead infrastructure automation and CI/CD enablement.
• Architect secure, scalable, cost-optimized cloud environments.
• Develop reference architectures, templates and guardrails.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Infra teams.
• Mentor engineering teams and promote IaC adoption.
