Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking a cloud platform engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will architect and develop IaC and automation frameworks using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, and work with application teams to define CI/CD pipelines from scratch.

You will build observability, security controls, and governance, collaborate with security and architecture groups to improve developer experience, and lead cloud modernization

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python language.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize cloud platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
• Architect and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Define CI/CD pipelines with application teams from scratch.
• Build observability, security controls, and platform governance practices.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, and application teams to improve developer experience.
• Lead cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives for enterprise clients, including stakeholder management.
• Mentor engineering teams on DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering best practices.
