Job summary

Adani Transmission invites an experienced Deputy General Manager - Civil - Projects to lead civil engineering activities for power and energy projects in Korba, Chhattisgarh. You will plan, execute, and oversee site preparation, foundation work, structural design, and finishing, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.

The role requires 15–20 years in civil engineering and project management, with 5–7 years in Power/Energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
15–20 years of progressive civil engineering and project management experience.
Power/Energy sector experience with large-scale infrastructure and power plants.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all civil engineering activities for power/energy projects.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans aligned with scope, budget and timeline.
Enforce stringent quality control and safety standards on site.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and internal teams.
Optimize resources and manage procurement, logistics and HR at site.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect project delivery.
Monitor budgets, approve civil expenditures and seek cost-saving measures.
Ensure regulatory compliance and environmental standards across works.
Mentor engineering and site teams to foster high performance.
Prepare progress reports and maintain detailed project documentation.
