Job summary

Adani Transmission is seeking an Associate Manager - Operations & Maintenance to lead and optimize thermal power plant operations. The role focuses on monitoring critical systems, managing start-up/shut-down cycles, and ensuring prompt response to deviations, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will oversee energy conservation initiatives, environmental compliance, and digitization efforts while coordinating with maintenance engineers to sustain smooth plant

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (recognized institution).
• Minimum of 9+ years of experience in power plant operations, focused on thermal power plants.
• Experience in power generation, specifically thermal plants, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Boiler, Turbine, Generator, BOP and electrical systems for optimal performance.
• Execute start-up and shut-down operations of plant systems as required.
• Maintain close observation of plant parameters and respond to deviations promptly.
• Perform routine changeover of equipment and trial of emergency drives.
• Handle emergencies related to BTG, switchyards and grid problems; coordinate responses.
• Ensure safe isolation and normalization of equipment and maintain FGDs and logbooks.
