Job summary

Platform Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join a leading Australian civil contractor, working remotely from the Philippines. You will help create tender submissions and collaborate with the Australian team on drainage, groundworks, and infrastructure projects.

You should read tender documents, perform BoQ, prepare pricing, identify risks, and draft methodology. Prior contractor-side estimating experience in groundworks, drainage, and bridge projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience supporting an Australian / NZ Civil Contractor
• Experience in civil groundworks and pipeline projects
• Proficiency in CostX, Cubit, and Bluebeam
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Your own WFH setup (laptop and monitor)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join a leading Australian civil contractor, working remotely from the Philippines. In this role, you will play a key part in creating tender submissions while collaborating closely with the Australian team on a good range of groundwork projects.

Our Client

I am pleased to confirm we are partnering with a first-class family business looking to build their offshore capability in the Philippines. They are established Civil Engineering contractors specialising in stormwater, pipework, and drainage through to bridge rectification work and infrastructure projects. With solid processes and procedures in place and a strong background in below-ground civil projects, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join a well-run civil contractor with established local links and a reputable client base. We are looking for a skilled Senior Civil Estimator who can read civil tender documents, understand the scope, identify risks and gaps, prepare pricing support, and help draft the methodology. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a proven track record in groundworks civil contracts operating at a senior level who knows their way around a tender. To be considered, you will have worked on drainage, stormwater, pipeline, excavation, groundwork, and bridge work.

About You

You have prior experience supporting an Australian civil construction contractor. You will be able to prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and have a strong grasp of estimation methodologies, safety standards, and environmental requirements to hit the ground running in this new remote role. It is essential that you have contractor-side civil estimating and tendering experience, working on similar infrastructure, drainage, and groundworks projects. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
