Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, structural works, and site development.
• Experience in earthworks, foundation systems, drainage, and infrastructure works.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil works for a utility-scale solar farm.
• Oversee installation and inspection of solar mounting structure foundations.
• Monitor construction of inverter station foundations, substation civil works, cable trenches, and underground utilities.
• Review civil and structural drawings, method statements, technical submittals, and engineering reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and safety and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, verify materials, and ensure proper construction methodologies are followed.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, QA/QC teams, surveyors, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and resolve technical issues related to civil works, foundation alignment, soil conditions, and structural integrity.
• Prepare inspection reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project completion activities from a civil engineering perspective.

About the Role

We are urgently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to support the implementation, inspection, and supervision of civil works for a utility-scale solar farm project. The role requires strong technical expertise in site development, solar structure foundations, and overall civil infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all civil works are executed in accordance with approved plans, technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil works for a utility-scale solar farm, including site clearing, grading, road construction, and drainage systems.


• Oversee installation and inspection of solar mounting structure foundations, including driven piles, bored piles, or shallow foundations.


• Monitor construction of inverter station foundations, substation civil works, cable trenches, and underground utilities.


• Review civil and structural drawings, method statements, technical submittals, and engineering reports.


• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and safety and quality standards.


• Conduct site inspections, verify materials, and ensure proper construction methodologies are followed.
