Job summary

Dimension All Group seeks a Project Engineer to oversee civil construction activities for solar PV projects in Metro Manila. You will review drawings, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on site.

The role involves site inspections, progress reporting, and supporting electrical tasks during handover to mechanical and electrical teams. Experience in solar projects is advantageous and a licensed engineer is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering or related field.
• Licensed Engineer (preferred, depending on country requirements)
• Experience in solar/renewable energy projects is an advantage
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical systems, and construction practices

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities including land development, grading, foundation work, roads, drainage, fencing, and cable trenching.
• Review and interpret civil engineering drawings and ensure accurate implementation onsite
• Ensure all civil works comply with design specifications, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks at different stages of construction.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and submit to the Project Manager.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays in civil activities.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery at the site.
• Support in project documentation, material approvals, and quality audits.
• Facilitate civil handover processes for subsequent installation of solar PV systems.
• Coordinate the civil work handover process for seamless transition to mechanical and electrical installation teams as support.
• Provide basic support in electrical tasks such as conduct laying, cable routing readiness, installation of grounding systems, and preliminary checks for inverter and combiner box locations as support.
