Job summary

Planate Management Group South East Asia Corp (PMG SEAC) is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead planning, design review, supervision, inspection, and QA/QC of utility infrastructure and airfield pavement works for aerodrome projects in the region.

The role emphasizes ensuring conformance with approved plans, specs, aviation requirements, and engineering standards while meeting quality, safety, and schedule objectives.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer with a valid PRC License.
• Minimum of ten years of professional experience in civil engineering.
• At least seven years in utility infrastructure or airfield pavement works for aerodrome projects.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems or runway rehabilitation and related civil works.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Experience in airport development, utility relocation, drainage networks, or underground infrastructure.
• Training or certification in utility engineering, quality management, or airport projects.
• Experience with government, airport authorities, consultants, and international contractors.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspect utility infrastructure works or airfield pavement works.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, and QA/QC requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and inspection activities to verify compliance with project and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, utility providers, and stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Prepare and review inspection reports, test results, progress updates, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
