Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Senior Civil 3D Draftsman to support the drafting team, plan activities, and review drawings to meet standards. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D to create 3D models, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections is essential.

You will supervise and prepare 3D models for clash detections, ensure presentation consistency, and guide CAD Technicians in applying standards and QA processes. Collaboration and problem-solving are key in this role.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or accredited drafting certificate is required.
• Advanced detailing drawings and CAD capabilities are essential.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and team supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create 3D models, alignments, profiles and cross-sections.
• Resolve technical and complex drafting issues with accuracy.
• Supervise and prepare 3D models for clash detections and QC checks.
• Ensure consistency of presentations across drawings and drafting standards.
• Review CAD outputs and ensure CAD Technicians apply lessons learned and processes.

The Senior Civil 3D Draftsman is responsible for the drafting support of his/her team, including activity planning and the review of drawings ensuring deliverables are as per applicable standards, codes, specifications, etc.

Missions/Main Duties

Responsible for the drafting support of his/her team, including activity planning and the review of drawings ensuring deliverables are as per applicable standards, codes, specifications, etc.,

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create 3D models, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections
• Resolve technical and complex issues,
• Supervise and prepare 3D models for clash detections,
• Ensure consistencies of presentations across drawings and ensure drafting Quality Control (QC) is implemented,
• Review and checking CAD outputs and ensuring that CAD Technicians apply Lessons Learned and follow CAD Standards, drawing processes and drawing production guidelines

Profile/Skills

• Engineering Degree/Diploma or accredited certificate of drafting course.
• Advanced computer and software skills in preparing detailing drawings
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create 3D models, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.
• Ability to manage a team of drafters
• Familiarity with Detailing works
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision
• Analytical and problem solving skills
