Qualifications

• Advanced analytical skills and data interpretation for environmental testing.
• R&D experience in waste treatment or environmental chemistry.

Role Description

The Senior Chemist is a full-time, on-site role based in Santo Tomas. Daily responsibilities include planning and performing chemical analyses, validating test methods, reviewing and interpreting analytical data, and preparing technical reports. The Senior Chemist will support process optimization and treatment solutions, collaborate with operations teams on waste acceptance and compatibility, and provide technical guidance on environmental, health, and safety requirements. The role also includes mentoring laboratory staff, maintaining laboratory documentation and quality systems, managing reagents and equipment, and supporting audits and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• Strong laboratory skills, including safe handling of chemicals, sample preparation, and operation of analytical instruments.
• Demonstrated quality control experience, including method validation, calibration, documentation, and adherence to laboratory standards.
• Advanced analytical skills and data interpretation capabilities for complex chemical and environmental testing.
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D) and research activities related to waste treatment, process improvement, or environmental chemistry.
