Job summary

Verdetech Environmental Services Inc. is seeking a Chemical Technician (Chem Tech) to perform chemical analysis of wastewater and environmental samples at our Tomas Morato, Quezon City facility, upholding GLP and safety standards.

You will prepare samples and reagents, operate and maintain lab instruments, and record test results with precise documentation. A BS in Chemistry or related science is required; RChT is preferred and prior environmental lab experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related science required.
• RChT highly preferred.
• Experience in environmental or wastewater laboratory preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and willing to work in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis of wastewater, water, and environmental samples.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory solutions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Record and maintain accurate laboratory test results and documentation.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and laboratory safety procedures.
• Assist in quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and laboratory audits.
