MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead channel management across YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms from a remote setup. You will plan content, brief editors, optimize metadata, and drive monetization while maintaining brand standards.

You will monitor performance metrics, develop data-driven strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging content, responsive communities, and measurable growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in social video, digital publishing, channel management, or equivalent role.
• Experience managing YouTube and Facebook channels.
• Strong writing and copywriting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to use data/analytics to drive decisions.
• Knowledge of monetization and advertiser-friendly content requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow creator brands across YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Execute channel content and monetization strategies to meet audience, engagement, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Plan content by analysing IPs, video assets, performance, audience behavior, and trends.
• Develop video briefs and collaborate with Video Editors to produce engaging content.
• Create titles, descriptions, captions, and thumbnails to improve discovery and CTR.
• Publish content with complete metadata, links, tags, and playlists.
• Monitor monetization and ensure compliance with platform policies.
• Build and nurture engaged communities by monitoring conversations and insights.
• Track channel performance (revenue, views, watch time, engagement, CTR) and identify optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to reporting, forecasting, and performance reviews; stay informed on trends and algorithm changes.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, editorial quality, and brand consistency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and escalate risks when needed.
