Job summary

ams OSRAM's LSP unit seeks an experienced production lead to drive daily Ceramic Assembly Line operations. You will manage output, quality, and cycle times while developing operators and maintaining compliance with procedures and customer requirements.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate with process engineering on equipment validation and ramp-up, and partner across engineering, quality, and maintenance to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Min 5 years’ experience in semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Experience with wafer saw/dicing, die attach/bonding, wire/lead bonding, hermetic sealing processes.
• Strong people leadership and coaching skills; ability to manage change and lead new line implementation; decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Ceramic Assembly Line to achieve production output, quality, and cycle time targets.
• Supervise and develop operators, technicians, and production support personnel; conduct daily shift meetings and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, control plans, operating procedures, and customer requirements; lead containment and escalation for process deviations and quality incidents.
• Support qualification, technology transfer, and production ramp-up activities for Ceramic Assembly operations; coordinate with Process Engineering during equipment installation, validation, and process qualification.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Lightbulb and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and availability; monitor equipment performance and support preventive maintenance.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Project Teams to achieve business objectives; support audits, customer visits, and operational reviews; report on production performance and risks.
