Job summary

HRTx Inc. in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, is seeking a Senior Buyer in Engineering and Industrial to lead end-to-end materials planning and purchasing for production. This role ensures timely availability of engineered components while optimizing inventory and supplier performance.

You will generate POs, coordinate with suppliers and engineering teams, and negotiate terms to balance cost, quality, and delivery. Onsite work and midshift schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Experience sourcing technical or engineered components.
• Knowledge of international terms and global trade/shipping terms.
• Local sourcing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage purchase orders based on production needs.
• Communicate daily with suppliers to confirm orders and deliveries.
• Collaborate with engineering/production to confirm specs and material needs.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers.

The Senior Buyer is responsible for end-to-end materials planning and purchasing to support production requirements in a discrete manufacturing environment. This role ensures the timely availability of engineered and technical components, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and driving supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate, release, and manage purchase orders (POs) based on production requirements
• Maintain daily communication with multiple suppliers to confirm orders, deliveries, and commitments
• Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to understand specifications, drawings, and material requirements
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and payment terms
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance availability and cost efficiency
• Work closely with production teams to ensure continuous material flow

Qualifications:

• At least 5- 10 years strong experience in purchasing/supply chain
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Experience sourcing technical or engineered components (made-to-print, spec-based parts)
• Familiarity with international commercial terms and global trade/shipping terms
• Has local sourcing experience
• Basic understanding of calculating and reporting savings, including cost avoidance, cost reduction, and cash flow improvements
• Experience working in a PEZA-registered environment is an advantage
