Job summary

SM Retail Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to empower business and marketing teams with data-driven insights.

You will transform data into actionable streams and help design, execute, and monitor loyalty marketing campaigns and strategies. Responsibilities include analyzing large data sets to understand customer behavior, collaborating with Marketing and Loyalty teams to develop campaigns, evaluating campaign results, and providing data quality feedback to improve the Data

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, OR, mathematics, economics, or engineering).
• Knowledge of database platforms (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Experience with BI tools including SQL, R, Python, and presentation tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI.
• Passionate about using data and analysis to make things happen and able to translate data analysis to actionable insights.
• Ability to work in teams and explain complex material to non-technical or executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets using data analytic tools to understand customer behavior and identify opportunities for loyalty marketing campaigns.
• Work in teams with Business, Marketing, and Customer Loyalty units to collaboratively develop marketing campaigns.
• Evaluate and interpret results of marketing campaigns and develop data-driven solutions and algorithms as identified by Business Units.
• Provide feedback to Data Warehouse team on data quality and completeness to improve Data Warehouse.

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for enabling Business Users to make better business decisions, by transforming data into streams of actionable insights, and use these insights to design, create, execute, and monitor Loyalty marketing digital marketing campaigns and strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large data sets, using data analytic tools, to understand customer behavior, and identify opportunities for loyalty marketing campaigns.
• Work in teams composed of Business, Marketing, and Customer Loyalty units/representatives, to collaboratively develop innovative and effective marketing campaigns.
• Evaluate and interpret results of marketing Campaigns Research and develop data driven solutions, and appropriate algorithms as may be identified by the Business Units.
• Provide feedback to Data Warehouse team, on the use of the data (Data quality, completeness, additional data requirements) to enable Data Warehouse team to improve Data Warehouse.
