Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to assist in developing risk management procedures and disaster recovery plans for central and distributed systems.

The role ensures operations continue during downtime and major incidents, testing plans with IT teams, and evaluating vendors to meet service level requirements. You will coordinate BC/DR projects, maintain plan documentation, and train staff while advising leadership on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• Typically minimum 4 years relevant experience.
• Experience in risk management, BC/DR planning or IT continuity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops BC/DR and Emergency Response plans to minimize impact of threats.
• Plans and coordinates BC/DR projects and participates in mitigation efforts.
• Coordinates setup of alternate facilities for business recovery (Hot Sites).
• Trains recovery team members on BC/DR policies and procedures.
• Advises senior leadership on requirements and best practices.
• Interacts with external clients and supports vendor contract negotiations.
