Ideal candidates have 5+ years in BA, strong data skills, and experience with financial data, AML/Market Abuse contexts, and cross-functional delivery in agile teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Business Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (pre and post-trade).
• Strong understanding of financial transactional data and reference data.
• Experience with SQL and database querying.
• Experience with surveillance or regulatory platforms.
• Experience in Agile software development or data integration projects.
• Experience delivering AI based solutions.
• Skilled at collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Define business functional and non-functional requirements for Market Abuse Trade Surveillance with the Compliance Surveillance team and the Product Owner.
• Document these requirements in detail for development and QA partners and ensure on-time delivery.
• Define acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and support UAT activities to ensure changes are tested effectively.
• Liaise with upstream application and data owners to understand changes on their platforms and to raise Surveillance data requirements.
• Promote the uptake of AI within the Business Analysis function within Trade Surveillance Technology, challenging the current operating model and increasing throughput.
• Identify, promote and deliver AI driven solutions for our Compliance Surveillance stakeholders.
• Liaise with vendor technical staff to understand capabilities and limitations of the third-party surveillance solution.
• Provide effort estimates of work to feed into the planning process and engage actively in the Agile processes.
