Job summary

Sagility in Quezon City is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong BI and data analytics capabilities to partner with stakeholders, technology teams, leadership, and vendors.

This role blends business analysis, data analytics, process improvement, and technology delivery — analyzing business problems and data, identifying trends and root causes, and translating insights into effective business and technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst in an enterprise IT environment.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Strong documentation skills, including BRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience working with complex datasets.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI/visualization tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current- and future-state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with application, development, integration, testing, and support teams to deliver solutions.
• Maintain a working understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, data flows, APIs, and system dependencies.
• Support application enhancements, automation, optimization, UAT, deployment, and post-production activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners to deliver requirements and resolve issues.
• Track project risks, dependencies, defects, and deliverables through to closure.
• Prepare project dashboards, status reports, and management updates.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Business Intelligence and Data Analytics capabilities to partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, leadership, and vendors. Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current- and future-state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with application, development, integration, testing, and support teams to deliver solutions.
• Maintain a working understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, data flows, APIs, and system dependencies.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, and management insights.
• Use Advanced Excel and SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, cost reduction, and improved business performance.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Serve as the bridge between business and technology teams.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Lead requirement workshops, presentations, solution reviews, and UAT discussions.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
