Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking an experienced bunker trader to develop and expand back-to-back bunker fuels business in the Chinese market, based in Shanghai or Hong Kong.

You will grow a client portfolio in mainland China, build supplier relationships, monitor market trends and regulatory changes, and report to the MD of the Singapore office. Fluent English and Mandarin are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trading marine fuels on a back-to-back basis.
• Experience in leading a trading team is preferred.
• Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop back-to-back bunker fuels business for the Chinese market.
• Grow and maintain end-user client portfolio in mainland China; open a trading office.
• Keep up to date with market trends, pricing, regulatory changes.
• Build relationships with local suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Reports into Managing Director of Singapore Office.
