Redstone Commodity Search is partnering with a growing multinational bunker trading company to hire an established back-to-back trader to expand their team in Singapore.

The role focuses on physical trading across the Singaporean and Southeast Asian market, requiring strong market insight and supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate has around 5 years’ spot trading experience in marine fuels, a portfolio of transferable relationships, and fluent English; based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of spot trading experience in marine fuels.
• Back-to-back bunker trading experience.
• Network of transferable relationships in bunker market.
• Based in Singapore and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Trade physical bunkers on a back-to-back basis across Singaporean/Southeast Asian market.
• Analyse trends in bunker pricing to forecast and maximize profit.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Grow and maintain a portfolio of end-user clients within the bunker sector.
• Report into the General Manager of the Singapore Office.
