Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced bunker trading professional to develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, managers, charterers and marine customers, driving growth in bunker trading across regional markets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in bunker trading or related roles.
• Understanding of bunker products, pricing, and delivery processes.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Established network in shipowners, ship managers, or bunker suppliers is a plus.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, ship managers, charterers, and marine customers to grow bunker trading business.
• Source bunker products from suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage end-to-end bunker trading activities: quotations, negotiations, order confirmations, and delivery coordination.
• Monitor bunker prices, market trends, supply availability, and customer demand to identify trading opportunities.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth bunker deliveries.
• Monitor trading margins and commercial exposure to ensure profitability.
• Develop and maintain a network of bunker suppliers and industry contacts in Singapore and regional markets.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Business, Maritime, Shipping, Supply Chain, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Over 3 years of experience in bunker trading, marine fuel trading, shipping, or related commercial roles.
• Good understanding of bunker products, pricing, and marine fuel delivery processes.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Candidate with an established network of shipowners, ship managers, charterers, or bunker supplier will have an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
