Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to establish and support our finance operations from the ground up, overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping and contributing to the ERP rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Working with the Finance and Leadership teams, you will maintain accurate financial records, prepare monthly management accounts, reconcile accounts, and drive process improvements to build a scalable finance function for a growing

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping function for the business.
• Process customer invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
• Support month-end financial activities and maintain strong financial controls.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Assist with system setup, configuration, and finance process mapping.
• Identify data gaps and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
• Recommend best practices to improve finance workflows and system utilization.
• Work closely with stakeholders to support user adoption and continuous system improvement.
• Provide general administrative support across the business.
• Process customer orders and support order administration.
• Assist with customer service enquiries where required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and operational records.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and operational efficiencies.
