Job summary

ApexBridge Inc. in Cebu Central Visayas is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to service Australian clients on a full-time basis.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations, and ensure timely processing of invoices. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Australian bookkeeping, strong knowledge of MYOB or Xero, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with the finance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role serving Australian clients.
• Proficient in MYOB or Xero and other bookkeeping tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and the finance team.
• Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for Australian clients, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other documents as required.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to Australian clients, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns promptly.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and streamline bookkeeping operations.
