Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in strongly typed languages (Go or Java).
• Hands-on with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Spanner).
• Proficiency with message brokers (Kafka or RabbitMQ).
• Proven experience developing well-architected APIs and microservices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear distinction between coding and software engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Craft well-architected microservice architectures for scalable backend systems.
• Collaborate with PMs and stakeholders on feature requirements.
• Improve and refactor codebases for maintainability and performance.
• Solve complex technical challenges and evaluate new technologies.
• Design and implement security control mechanisms for services and data.
• Lead incident response and post-incident analysis.
• Build observability into systems for monitoring and debugging.
• Lead technical projects, manage deliverables, ensure team alignment.
