Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Manila seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong C#/.NET or Java to join a team delivering enterprise-scale financial systems for post-trade affirmation and real-time messaging.

You will work on backend services, messaging pipelines, and real-time data processing, collaborate with Architecture and DevOps, participate in SAFe ceremonies, and mentor junior engineers across global teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in C#/.NET OR Java
• Backend/server-side development experience
• Experience with messaging, data processing, or system integrations
• Strong XML and SQL experience
• Exposure to cloud and CI/CD environments is a plus
• Experience with post-trade, trade confirmation, affirmation, STP, or clearing is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-level backend applications
• Build message consumption, transformation, and publishing capabilities
• Work with real-time data and financial messaging
• Investigate and resolve production issues as part of L3 support
• Collaborate with Architecture and DevOps teams
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies
• Contribute to code quality through testing and code reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global teams
