Job summary

Endor Labs is hiring a senior backend engineer to design and build core backend features for our SaaS platform. You will work with Product Management and a distributed engineering team to deliver scalable, reliable services.

You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, write clean, well-documented code, and improve observability and performance. Prior experience with Golang and microservices is essential; Java experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience: 5+ years building scalable backends for SaaS products.
• 2+ years of Golang programming experience with microservices/distributed architecture.
• Strong API design skills, preferably with gRPC.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core backend features end-to-end for our SaaS products, collaborating with Product Management and distributed Engineering teams.
• Contribute to large-scale technical projects ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of systems.
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive sound technical decisions for long-term code health.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that serves as a reference for engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
• Use observability best practices to ensure reliability and availability for customers.
• Engage with external technical forums, conferences, and open-source communities.
