What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on Quality Engineering to drive the reliability, scalability, and security of Endor Labs’ products. This role goes beyond traditional QA - you will own quality end-to-end, combining deep technical expertise in automation with a strong understanding of real-world customer use cases.

You will play a key role in designing robust test strategies, building scalable automation frameworks, and integrating quality checks into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate brings a security-first mindset, proactively identifies risks, and leverages modern AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity, debugging, and test coverage.This position requires both independent execution and strong collaboration within a fast-paced, high-impact engineering environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams todefine acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks.

• Contribute torelease processes, including build validation, regression cycles, and production readiness
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to improve development velocity, debugging, and test generation.
• Continuously improve testing practices, frameworks, and tooling to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Advocate forshift-left testing and quality ownership across teams.

What we're looking for

• 5 to 8 years of experience in software engineering or QA, with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such asJava, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience building or working withtest automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Pytest).
• Strong understanding ofCI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and modern release workflows.
• Experience withversion control (Git) and build/package tools like Maven, npm, or pip.
• Solid understanding ofREST APIs and experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Experience working withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools likeSplunk, Kibana, or similar log/observability platforms.
• Familiarity withcontainerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
• Understanding ofmodern software delivery pipelines and release processes.
• Experience working in or strong interest in thesecurity/cybersecurity domain.
