Job summary

Solidgate is building the #1 payments orchestration platform, empowering global digital companies. You will join the Banking team to develop backend services for corporate card issuance and movement, collaborating with engineers and legal/compliance teams to ensure scalable, secure payments.

Your work spans integration with banking providers, AML systems, and SWIFT, with emphasis on performance, security, and reliable deployments. A strong backend foundation and proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years backend development experience (Node.js/TypeScript preferred).
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience writing unit and functional tests (Jest, Cypress, Vitest).
• Experience building or integrating complex systems.
• Proactive by default: identify problems early and fix them.
• Ability to own a feature from concept to production.
• Clear communicator able to explain technical decisions.
• Business-minded to build value, not just ship code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services for corporate card issuance and management.
• Integrate with core banking providers, AML systems, and SWIFT for payments.
• Interpret third-party docs into concrete integration plans.
• Participate in RFCs and PRDs across the development lifecycle.
• Improve performance, scalability, and observability with tools like Kafka and Loki.
• Write unit/functional tests, follow security best practices, and contribute to CI/CD.
• Collaborate daily with design, finance, and platform teams to ship end-to-end UX.
