Job summary

Avaloq Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and implement high-performance solutions on the Avaloq/Oracle stack in a hybrid work setup in the Philippines.

You will deliver end-to-end from specification to production, optimize SQL/PL-SQL, and collaborate with BAs to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable software for financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend engineering and financial systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL, Oracle DB, and backend engineering.
• Experience with Avaloq Script or similar core banking platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver in SLA-driven, production-critical environments.
• Strong capability in performance tuning and system integration.
• Ability to work across complex financial/accounting logic.
• Ownership mindset with focus on delivery reliability and maintainability.
