Job summary

Seapac Philippines Inc is seeking a seasoned Drafter/Designer for an on-site role in Makati. The candidate will prepare workshop and fabrication drawings, review drawings for RFIs/technical queries, and compile BOMs using AutoCAD.

Leadership duties include assigning tasks, monitoring the team, and producing monthly management reports. A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in related field are required; ASAP start preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in the same field.
• Experience in a construction company.
• Experience in FACADE (facade) is required.
• Willing to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all workshop drawings per Seapac project requirements and QA standards.
• Review architectural and structural drawings; initiate RFIs or Technical Queries as needed.
• Prepare fabrication drawings per Seapac standards and project requirements to enable production.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) using AutoCAD or manual take-off in procurement-friendly formats.
• Ensure quality by double-checking own work and having it reviewed by a senior team member.
• Handle printing/plotting per project/Seapac requirements.
• Maintain project files/drawings per procedures and QA requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers per documented procedures.
• Prepare tender submission drawings as requested by Sales.
• Maintain and circulate updated drawings for the Seapac Catalogue.
• Program and schedule all incoming work to meet customer requirements.
• Assign projects and tasks to team members as required; monitor performance.
• Prepare monthly management reports with team support.

Duties and Tasks

• Collect and analyze data to enable the preparation of workshop drawing in accordance with Seapac Project requirements and the Project Quality Plan.
• Review Architectural & Structural drawings and where appropriate initiate RFI (Request for Information) or TQ (Technical Queries) so that information may be properly requested.
• Prepare all Seapac workshop drawings in accordance with all applicable codes, Seapac standard details and applicable standards.
• Prepare all Seapac Fabrication Drawings in accordance with Seapac standard details and project requirements and ensure that they are sufficiently detailed so that the production facility can fabricate and assemble.
• Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) as directed either by using AutoCAD software or by manual take off and present in a format that can be properly used for procurement.
• Check all own work thoroughly prior to issue. All work must be checked by either another member of your team or a senior member of Design & Engineering dept.
• Carry out required printing and plotting in accordance with project and Seapac requirements.
• Maintain all project files and drawings in accordance with Seapac documented procedures and quality assurance requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers in accordance with documented procedures.
• Prepare tender submission drawings as requested by Sales in accordance with requests.
• Maintain and circulate updated drawings for the Seapac Catalogue in accordance with documented procedures.
• Program all incoming works so that it can be completed in accordance with customer requirements.
• Assign projects and tasks to team members as required.
• Monitor the performance of team members so the team meets all deadlines.
• Prepare a report monthly to management with the support of your team as set out below.

Job Requirements

-Atleast 10 years of experience in the same field

-Experience in a construction company

-Experience in FACADE is required
