Job summary

LinX Outsourcing is seeking a Senior Australian Tax Accountant to prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and advisory work for Australian SME clients. You will manage your own client files, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with Australian tax rules.

The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and experience with Xero and MYOB. This is a fully remote position with Philippine business hours and a permanent work-from-home setup.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years as a Senior Australian Tax Accountant with Australian clients or an outsourcing firm
• Proficient in Australian tax, compliance and SME accounting
• Hands-on GST reconciliation, Div 7A, CGT and FBT experience
• Proficient in Xero, MYOB, and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Clear written and spoken English
• Able to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for Australian SME clients
• Prepare GST reconciliations and workpapers for Div 7A, CGT and FBT
• Develop tax planning strategies and advisory reports
• Identify complex tax issues and escalate as needed
• Finish work on time and within budget
• Maintain accurate workpapers, documentation and timesheets
• Follow the client's systems and processes
