Job summary

TOA Global is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in a role focused on Australian taxation. You will become the technical authority for complex tax scenarios, including Div7A and international dealings, ensuring compliant, optimized client portfolios.

You will manage the lodgment program, collaborate with Eagle group accountants, and leverage Xero, Xero Practice Manager, and Microsoft Office for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in Australian tax accounting.
• CPA, CA, or tax-specific qualifications are essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Xero, Xero Practice Manager, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage high-stakes compliance, including Div7A and international dealings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage accurate financial statements, working papers, and annual tax returns using Australian tax knowledge (CGT, FBT, complex income tax).
• Lead lodgment program and manage multiple client portfolios with precision.
• Resolve intricate tax matters, including bucket company obligations, UPE management, and international tax dealings.
• Utilize Xero, Xero Practice Manager, OneDrive, and Outlook for data management and reporting.
• Communicate complex tax concepts clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders.
