Job summary

Aprio is seeking an Audit professional to accurately and skillfully perform audits, prepare audit work papers and adjusting trial balances, and plan client engagements. You will assemble trial balances and compile financial statements into a written report, ensuring the accuracy of financial information for clients and colleagues.

This role requires travel to client sites, strong communication, and teamwork within Aprio's Assurance - Audit Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Specialties in Manufacturing and/or Technology preferred.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Experience with CaseWare or similar audit software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days onsite and 3 days WFH; full-time onsite during first 2 months.
• Dayshift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and skillfully perform audits.
• Prepare audit work papers and adjusting trial balances.
• Use time management to plan and schedule client engagements.
• Assemble trial balances and compile financial statements into a written report.
• Communicate the accuracy of financial statements and other information to clients and co-workers.
• Foster relationships with coworkers and clients.
• Travel to client sites.
• Support Aprio's Assurance - Audit Team and help clients maximize opportunities.
