Job summary

Aprio is seeking an Audit professional to accurately and skillfully perform audits, prepare audit work papers and adjusting trial balances, and plan client engagements. You will assemble trial balances and compile financial statements into a written report, ensuring the accuracy of financial information for clients and colleagues.

This role requires travel to client sites, strong communication, and teamwork within Aprio's Assurance - Audit Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Specialties in Manufacturing and/or Technology preferred.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Experience with CaseWare or similar audit software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days onsite and 3 days WFH; full-time onsite during first 2 months.
• Dayshift schedule.

Requirements

• 4 year bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Master’s degree preferred
• Licensed CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of experience working for a public accounting firm
• Developed specialties in Manufacturing and/or Technology
• Understanding and applying Excel skills
• Successfully using Case ware or other audit software
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and personably within a team
• Amenable to a hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite and 3 days WFH), with full-time onsite work required during the first 2 months
• Amenable to working on a dayshift schedule
