Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a skilled auditor to join a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm. This role emphasizes accurate audits, preparation of work papers, and presenting financial statements to clients.

Requirements include a 4‑year accounting degree, 3–5 years in public accounting, strong Excel and CaseWare skills, and a willingness to work a hybrid schedule (2 onsite, 3 WFH). Onsite work is required full‑time during the first 2 months, with a dayshift schedule.

Qualifications

• 4 year bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Licensed CPA preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in a public accounting firm
• Specialized knowledge in Manufacturing and/or Technology
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with CaseWare or similar audit software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH) with full-time onsite during the first 2 months
• Dayshift schedule

Responsibilities

• Assembling trial balances and compiling financial statements into a written report to be presented
• Effectively communicating the accuracy of financial statements and other financial information to clients and co-workers
• Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients
• Traveling to some to client sites

Requirements

• 4 year bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Licensed CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of experience working for a public accounting firm
• Developed specialties in Manufacturing and/or Technology
• Understanding and applying Excel skills
• Successfully using Case ware or other audit software
• Demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Working effectively and personably within a team
• Amenable to a hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite and 3 days WFH), with full-time onsite work required during the first 2 months .
