Job summary

Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Associate, Assurance Services to join the Audit Team. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite and 3 days WFH), with full-time onsite work required during the first 2 months.

You will work with clients across diverse sectors and contribute to high-quality audit engagements. Ideal candidates hold a 4-year accounting degree, CPA preferred, and have 3-5 years of public accounting experience, with strong Excel and

Qualifications

• 4 year bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience working for a public accounting firm.
• Developed specialties in Manufacturing and/or Technology.
• Understanding and applying Excel skills.
• Successfully using Case ware or other audit software.
• Demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Working effectively and personably within a team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and skillfully performing audits
• Preparing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
• Utilizing time management to plan and schedule client engagements
• Assembling trial balances and compiling financial statements into a written report to be presented
• Effectively communicating the accuracy of financial statements and other financial information to clients and co-workers
• Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients
• Traveling to some to client sites
