Qualifications

• Previous experience working for an Australian accounting firm.
• Strong bookkeeping skills with the ability to handle high-volume workflows.
• Familiarity with Australian accounting practices and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of producing accurate work with minimal corrections.
• Ability to work independently while communicating with remote supervisors.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Process bookkeeping tasks for multiple Australian clients following established firm procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all documentation is organized and accessible.
• Prepare work for review by senior accountants in Australia, ensuring it meets quality standards before submission.
• Manage workflow efficiently to handle high volumes of bookkeeping work during peak periods.
• Time email communications to align with Australian business hours.
• Work within MYOB AE or MYOB AO practice management systems to complete bookkeeping tasks.
