Job summary

KAT-C Business and Data Privacy Consulting Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Associate Privacy Consultant for a full-time, onsite role in Bonifacio Global City.

You will assist the Lead Consultant, conduct interviews, map processes, and perform PIAs and compliance reviews. Ideal candidates hold a Law Degree (J.D./LL.B.) or a background in Legal Management or IT, with at least two years in data privacy practice.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in data privacy practice (as DPO or Privacy Officer).
• Strong understanding of RA 10173, NPC issuances, GDPR and CCPA.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Consultant in managing client privacy projects.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and process mapping (ROPA).
• Perform Privacy Impact Assessments and compliance reviews.
• Draft, review, and revise privacy documentation such as policies and notices.
• Conduct legal research on the Data Privacy Act and global privacy laws.
• Prepare and facilitate data privacy trainings for clients.
• Maintain client communications and provide compliance updates under supervision.

We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Associate Privacy Consultant who’s passionate about data privacy law and wants to make an impact by helping businesses protect what matters most — personal data.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Lead Consultant in managing client privacy projects.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and process mapping (ROPAs).
• Perform Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and compliance reviews.
• Draft, review, and revise privacy documentation such as policies, notices, consent forms, and internal procedures.
• Conduct detailed legal research on the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its issuances and on global privacy laws.
• Help prepare and facilitate data privacy and security awareness trainings for clients.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, documenting feedback and providing compliance updates under the supervision of the Lead Consultant.

What We’re Looking For

• Preferably a Lawyer
• Law Degree (J.D./LL.B.) or background in Legal Management, IT
• At least 2 years experience in data privacy practice (as Data Protection Officer or Privacy Manager/Officer)
• Strong understanding of the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) and NPC issuances, GDPR and CCPA
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
