Job summary

MicroSourcing in Manila is seeking a Senior Associate, Client Accounting for Maples Group's expanding Manila operation. You will prepare management accounts for investment funds and entities, and ensure IFRS/US GAAP reporting accuracy.

You will also produce regulatory filings, deliver timely updates, and coach junior staff while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting designation is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills (SumIfs, Vlookup, PivotTables); Power Query a plus.
• Able to learn new software and adapt quickly to new processes.
• Team player with good time management, positive attitude.
• High attention to detail when handling large volumes of financial information.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
• Deliver value to internal stakeholders with high-quality service.
• Respond promptly and professionally to requests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts for various client types (funds, holding companies, aircraft leasing entities, structured finance vehicles).
• Prepare annual financial statements per IFRS, US GAAP, Irish or UK GAAP.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual regulatory reporting/filings.
• Provide timely status updates to meet deadlines.
• Coach and train junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal risk requirements.
• Escalate business issues to management.
• Maintain accurate data in proprietary systems.
• Respond to internal stakeholder queries promptly and professionally.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and other parties.
• Demonstrate strong team focus and willingness to assist others.
• Handle ad-hoc projects and reporting.
